Speed meeting with illustrator Raquel Silveira
/ How would you describe yourself as an artist in four words? Nature infused, feminine, curious, expressive.

/ Where does your inspiration come from? My inspiration comes from the natural world, the feminine universe, storytelling, and everyday life. I’m fascinated by how organic forms and human moments intersect and how they can communicate emotion, balance and narrative through color, shape and composition.

/ What does a productive day in your studio look like? (Sum it up in five words.) Exploring ideas, creating, refining, releasing.

/ What kind of project are you dreaming of illustrating next? I dream of illustrating the visual identity for a major music festival, the kind where art, sound, and people merge into one unforgettable experience. I’d love to create a universe that goes beyond a logo: immersive visuals, vibrant posters, stage graphics, installations, merch, an entire visual ecosystem that pulses with the same energy as the music. Something bold, expressive, and alive.

/ What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your work as an illustrator? What brings me the greatest satisfaction as an illustrator is the opportunity to move between different universes, editorial, cultural, commercial, poetic, and visually contribute to meaningful conversations. I love translating complex or relevant themes into images that feel accessible, sensitive, and engaging.
