It is with great pleasure that we announce you the comeback of Annick Poirier in our stable. She was one of pillars of the agency a few years ago by giving life to beautiful campaigns and projects.

After a moment of being on her own, she is back with an even stronger and diversified portfolio. Annick wore several hats in the graphic arts world before choosing to happily dedicate herself to illustration in 2007. An avid traveler and enthusiast of contemporary architecture, design under all its forms, minimalism and ecology, she recently designed, drew and managed the construction of her eco-friendly mini-house in Les Laurentides where she lives now. Her small studio has the most poetic views and a luminosity for all her creative illustration projects.

Here is our tenth CREATIVE CAPSULE. This month, we invite you to meet Andi Meier, our young and smiling German artist working with some Plasticine. He shows a lot of creativity, his compositions are more and more complex and his universe is unique. Big marks and famous magazines appeal to him and the results are magnificent. Describe your creative lab in a few words?
Messy, but there are unicorns flying around.

In two sentences, how would you describe your work technique? 
Everything is modulated in clay, photographed and arranged on computer.

What is the project of which you are most proud of?
One of the projects I am really proud of are the illustrations for “The Washington Post”.

What are your favourite colors to create?
I prefer bright pastellic colours.

Why did you become an artist?
I wanted to become famous and rich.

In four words, how would you describe your style of illustration?
Colourful, happy, hand-crafted, ironic

What is the project of your dreams?
To make my own illustrated-book.

What does a typical day in the life of Andi looks like?
-Option 1: standing up at 7, taking a shower, riding on my bike to my office, creating the whole day amazing new clay-illustrations, going to the gym, meeting friends and go to bed.
-Option 2: snoozing about 2-3 hours, standing up at whenever, riding with my bike to my office, watching the whole day you-tube-videos, riding home, go to sleep.

What inspires you?
There are many things in everyday life, which are really inspiring. But I especially like watching tourists making selfies – a perfect inspiration for character-design. But of course the internet is also pretty helpful.

What is your favourite blog or website?
Globally, I like to surf on Instagram and Pinterest... no favorite !

They present us with their last projects; a magnificent campaign entitled "Don't let food get in between" for the dental floss's brand Guardian, made in collaboration with DDB Singapore.

Illustrations signed Katrinn Pelletier for the 40th anniversary of the cosmetic brand La Roche-Posay. Katrinn was requested by Orange Tango agency to create a main illustration including the water drop from the logo of the brand. Some portraits of dermatologists and of a family were also illustrated as testimonies for the promotion of skin care products. Katrinn's illustrations were used on several promotional tools (as a beautiful water bottle) distributed this Summer via the 30 day moisturization challenge contest and also promotional events gathering skin care professionals.

Seven of our illustrators contributed to the 2015 campaign of Jacques Bouchard Foundation (home palliative care) in collaboration with Publicis Montréal. The clinic was at the fund-raiser evening last Tuesday, September 15 during which the artworks were on sale by auction.

Katrinn Pelletier was chosen by DentsuBos to illustrate a printed advertising concept created by the agency. She was commissioned to draw in a modern style, a retro multi-tasking woman in charge of household duties in the first place and the ad's titles in second place. The TV show is a documentary made as a TV series about the evolution of women's status at home in the Province of Quebec from the 50's to the end of the very last century.

Adam James Turnbull illustrated the landscape and the headline & body copy using hand drawn type. The collage of a photo of an adult's hand and child's crayon drawing of a bicycle were added to complete the concept of adding adult's pen sketches to the child's drawing, to show all the things that could be introduced into kids’ lives to help them grow up happier and healthier.
