Here's one of Steve Scott's most recent creation. This map, created for the agency TANK Montréal, presents a route in a picturesque and rich decor.

Maison Vignaux created this TV spot for Top14 and the National League of Rugby. The short movie was broadcasted during Boxing Day, between Christmas and New Year's Day. Havas Production, Havas SE and Colagene managed the production jointly. Maison Vignaux has also looked after the print campaign.

With always as much humor and talent, Benoit Tardif is original with his funny illustrations apprearing in several articles in the The Baffler Magazine for the January 2017 issue.

Giordano Poloni makes us look for Billy, the mascot of Syncrude Canada company, in his illustration for this greeting card inspired by the famous "Where's Waldo?". DDB Edmonton agency and Syncrude Canada fell under the spell of Giordano's talent which allies poetry, conviviality and a touch of tradition.

Here are some of Giordano Poloni's latest projects; The poster of the documentary American Utopia by Maxime Pelletier-Huot, an illustration for GQ Travel and a last illustration created as part of a competition for Le Grand Paris Express.

Marie-Eve Tremblay ​​illustrates her monthly column in the February 2017 issue of Coup de Pouce magazine, under the theme "Love, fresh water and socks lying on the floor".

For a few months, Katrinn has been working on a new style and exploring new hand drawing techniques. Today, she presents us a part of her novelties and explains them here:

"I missed the contact with the material. I needed to lose control a bit, get caught by a burr, too much water and play with the material. What a pleasure to mix together the different mediums, such as watercolor, colored pencil and graphite directly on fabriano paper and see the reaction of the support... Pure happiness, without counting all the meditative side that there is in this technique. I found the small 5 years old Katrinn.

To begin with, I present a dozen of playful, dreamlike and poetic illustrations. 

Presently in Quebec, and particularly in Quebec city, we're in the middle of winter. The end of year celebrations are behind us. There is a cocooning atmosphere. We feel the need to warm up. I had fun exploring the themes of winter, comfort, the need to wrap ourselves up in big and warm woollen garments. Also, I wanted to juxtapose the nature of Northen Quebec and the North Coast and its conifers. And finally, our brave small birds from Quebec which spend the hard winter with us, which I imagined wrapped with comforting and playful woollen. 

I now dive into a more colorful universe in anticipation of spring which will eventually show up at our door within a few months. I intend to express my passion of gardening and also cooking by beautiful floral, greedy and colorful illustrations. We can see the beginning in the study of Miss Dior perfume and the illustration of the Hummingbird with Hibiscus.

So, I hope that will please you, already my birds had a proud success!"

Here's our sixth CREATIVE CAPSULE. This month, we invite you to meet Antonio Uve, spanish illustrator living in Madrid, with his very own playful and graphic world. It's a real pleasure to work with Antonio. Enjoy meeting him!

Describe your creative lab (the place you do illustration) in a few words?
My workspace is a little corner of my small loft. It has plenty of light and I love it! Although in the Spanish summer, it gets a bit too warm! I like to be surrounded by posters, plants and postcards to inspire me.

In two sentences, how would you describe your work technique?
My technique is focused on finding simples shapes to depict what I have on mind, then I play with color. The final part is adding textures to give a warm touch to the final result.

What is the project of which you are most proud of?
Last year, I made some illustrations for a Spanish magazine called Icon, about the best culinary schools in Spain. That assignment brought me some amazing clients outside of Spain, which made me appreciate the unexpected power of the internet.

What are your favourite colors to create?
Recently, I realized I tend to use a lot of blue, but in general I tend to use bright colors. I love playing with color and testing different palettes. When I have enough time, I could spend hours and hours testing colors… it’s one of my favourite part of the process.

Why did you become an artist?
I was working at different agencies as an art director and graphic designer, but I was never completely happy.  At one point I realized that all I wanted to do was draw so I kept following that feeling. Now I feels like the most lucky guy in the world to get paid for illustrating.

In four words, how would you describe your style of illustration?
Colourful, simple, dynamic and fun

What is the project of your dreams?
I would like to illustrate a book for children. In my free time this year, I hope to put together some ideas for my portfolio to help this dream happen in the future.

What does a typical day in the life of Antonio look like?
My day starts about 7:00 am, I go to the gym very early to start my day full of energy. After, I head home to have breakfast and then work until lunch time-- which in Spain is usually 2pm! In the afternoon, I feel more creative and I save this time to work on sketching, or new ideas and new projects. I try to have a schedule similiar to an office but often deadlines demand something very different.

Charley Harper, Blexbolex, Alexander Girard, Manolo Prieto, interior design, travels, Radiohead, The Smiths, The xx, Moderat, The Amazing World of Gumball...

What is your favourite blog or website?
I have to admit that I love to check websites in which you can see the homes and workspaces of people like http://theselby.com/ or http://www.designsponge.com/

Because Ross, who's also a roughman, has various talents, and because you often ask us 3D and vectorial artwork, here is the brand new portfolio of Ross 3D. Here is a selection of his best projects to help you in your 3D needs.

Steve Scott created the Unofi greeting card, which accompanies the notaries of France in the analysis of the private and professional heritage. It symbolizes the transition from year 2016, which was troubled and tormented enough, to 2017 which will be more clement, we all hope for it.

Frédéric Lacas, Chairman of the Agglomération Béziers Méditerranée, gives you his best wishes. All of these illustrations were created by David Despau.

"The best practice of com'", "Meetings", "The continuity of service" or "The working environment"; Those are The unavoidables of the good way of living together illustrated in the shape of practical sheets by Steve Scott, for the Palatine Bank, which is a bank for companies as well as a private bank.

The work of Stephanie is seen almost everywhere, she tells us more here about her last collaborations. The first illustration is for my bimonthly column about life with children in Luna Magazine. The second, I'm working on a kids' science book about telescopes with Jacob Kramer and this is from one of the series about great observatories around the world. Both third and forth illustrations were for Let it grow, an online magazine, which deals with modern eco architecture. The first article was about the planned Garden Bridge in London, the second one about a Dutch architecture firm called SUS Ateliers. The last illustration is for Missy Magazine. It went with an article about pension funds and poverty at an old age.

Marie-Eve Tremblay's illustrations charm both young and old, and you will be seduced by these magnificent illustrations created for the new book The Cowboy Princess, published by Dominique et Compagnie.

Ëlodie, Parisian illustrator, illustrates the wallpaer of this month " Jane & BB ". This illustration was created for the collections of Ëlodie Paper Goods. All the products are printed in a craft way in Paris in small quantity on papers selected carefully for their quality and fully certified FSC (label: certified forests / Forest Stewardship Council). The new collection is made with sweet warm golden pads, posters and cards and is inspired by Parisian woman: the elegant woman, the gourmet, the muse.

For a fresh start in 2017, Nicole Jarecz has decided to illustrate everything luxe. From Moët & Chandon fine champagne, to Dolce & Gabbana iconic sunglasses to Ladurée's famous Parisian store fronts. These pieces highlight Nicole's love of feminine color, simple composition and fashion.

Zigor Samaniego was chosen to create the next covers of Bruneau's catalogs - supplies and office furniture for companies - in 3D. Here is the January one.

It was a pleasure to work with Marie-Eve Tremblay on 'Fish Tales', a fictional underwater story for Chirp magazine. She enhanced the direction provided, bringing the story to life with wonderful details and a fresh color palette. The reps at Colagene were great at keeping everything on track, allowing us to focus on creativity.
