We are proud and happy to welcome Nicolas Dehghani among the illustrators of the clinic. After three years at the animation school "Les Gobelins" (Paris), Nicolas and five classmates create CRCR, a collective who achieved advertising, musicvideos and shortmovies in live action and 2d animation since 2011. The knowledge learnt with this teamwork give him the envy to explore new ways of expression by starting a career in illustration, with some detailed and colorfull images.

Colagene and its illustrators from Montreal participated to the first edition of the art fair organized by Mural public art festival. Our Positive Side Effects screenprints, limited edition, on sale at our kiosk for the event, were very popular. Visitors were also able to follow the live creation of a collaborative artwork illustrated by Jerome Mireault, Éric Caron, Aaron McConomy, Marie-Eve Tremblay and Dan Svatek.

A fish on a bike.. well, yes it does exist! And it’s Jerome Mireault that had a lot of fun imagining beautiful drawings for a short essay called “Second début” (second beginning) by author and journalist Francine Pelletier, a vivid and sincere discussion on feminism in Quebec province and its status nowadays.

What a creative and educative project generated by the city of Laval (Quebec province). Benoit Tardif had a lot of fun customizing a truck with a playful illustrated little characters all happy to read.
