Like a sweet summer scent...

The summer heat arrives and we can feel it through the newsletter of this month ; Takeshi dresses the packagings of the "summer edition" of Azzaro, Adam goes around the world on a bicycle for Antalis, Colagene exposes itself in Sète, in the South of France, Ëlodie feels like fish in water with the new screensaver. And, as every month, you can discover below a selection of the clinic's last creations. We also want to welcome Marilyn Marois, a new agent at the Montreal's clinic who is in charge of the English market and also the graphic clinic. Note that the clinic is open all summer long.

Azzaro perfumes for Man and Azzaro Chrome / Monde

The brand new packagings of Azzaro perfumes for Man and Azzaro Chrome from the Summer Edition 2014 "An invitation to the journey" were internationaly reveal last month. Late 2012 / early 2013, Takeshi and Colagene had the privilege to work together with the incredible team of Clarins Paris. Our challenge was to illustrate the bottles and packagings with a shade and mood from de Latin America. We wish them a great success to this edition and Viva el verano! Antalis promotionnal flipbook / Monde

Here is a very attractive result being the fruit of a long illustration work by Adam James Turnbull. More than 150 illustrations were created for this promotional flipbook distributed through thirty countries for the paper brand Antalis. This project was realised from an original idea of a Parisian agency who found a way to bring to life this concept.

Marilyn is a natural for creativity also passionate by the visual arts and creative trends. After her studies in graphic design at Cégep de Sherbrooke, she decided to move to Montreal to widen her education at the university opting for the famous Bachelor of Graphic Design at UQAM. Therefore, she will work as a freelancer and for renowned agencies. Design and agencies environment is a real playground for her. Curious by nature and wanting to be more involved in the process of project management while touching creation, she joined the team Colagene in May 2014 as agent and manager of business development for the English market of North America. Véronique Joffre had a great time creating 4 playful and colorful illustrations for an informative online brochure that promotes an intergenerational neighborhood. It’s a real-estate project suggested by the Berthiaume Du-Tremblay association that aims to gather houses for both pensioners and younger generation in the same area of living. Veronique did illustrate a global view of the neighborhood and also 3 essential dimensions: security, health and commitment that will be placed in the heart of the project.

Launching of the new Colagene guide and "Positive Side Effects" exhibition / Montreal

During the official release of its new guide Positive Side Effects, Colagene, creative clinic, organized an event of the same name, on last May 8th, in the Montreal's Espace Infopresse. On this occasion, a screenprintings exhibition, on sale, created by the illustrators of the agency was presented. You can take a look at the photos of the event on BaronMag and Nightlife. We want to thank, once again, our sponsors ; La Bourgeoise Sérigraphe, for her talent and her patience, Mp and Cascades for the film and the paper. The main point of the article being rather complex, which is about the impact of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Véronique decided to bring a symbolic point of view : the investor in search of investment.

K-Live Festival / Sète (France)

Further to the Montreal's event Positive Side Effects, Colagene is doing it again and presents the screenprintings exhibition during the K-Live festival in Sète (France), at the Hotel de Paris. The exhibition is presented until the end of July. During the festival you can admire wall paintings of Julien "Seth" Malland and Monsieur Qui (two "former" of the clinic) while you are walking in the streets of Sète.

Marie-Eve Tremblay illustrated the promotional visual of the fundraiser evening Parlez-moi d’amour (tell me about love) organized by the charity Jovia. The organization’s mission is to improve hospitalized patients’ quality of live through performances given by therapeutic clowns who interact with people by combining complicity, playfulness and imagination. The illustration was used on Jovia’s facebook page, its web site, promotional displays and the evening’s program.
